CATTLE DECAPITATION: Footage From Recording Studio Posted Online

August 12, 2008

San Diego extreme metallers CATTLE DECAPITATION have entered Sharkbite studios in Oakland, California to begin recording their fourth full-length album for Metal Blade Records. The first video diary documenting the recording sessions for the new CD can be viewed below.

CATTLE DECAPITATION is laying down the drum tracks with Zach Ohren (ALL SHALL PERISH, DECREPIT BIRTH) before recording the rest of the instruments and mixing the album with Billy Anderson. According to the band, "This is going to be devastating, we promise. The new material is over the top. The lyrics as hateful as 'Karma.Bloody.Karma' but much more disgusting this time around."

Songtitles set to appear on the new CATTLE DECAPITATION CD include "Tooth Enamel & Concrete", "Regret & the Grave", "We Are Horrible People" and "The Body Farm". The artwork will be designed by Wes Benscoter.

CATTLE DECAPITATION's latest album, "Karma.Bloody.Karma", was released in July 2006 via Metal Blade Records. The CD was produced by Billy Anderson (SWANS, MR. BUNGLE, SLEEP) and features guest appearances by Joey Karam (THE LOCUST) and John Wiese (SUNN0)))),BASTARD NOISE).
